Go Green Events

This September, Libraries NI is inviting people of all ages to take part in Go Green (more info) with Libraries NI through a programme of free events in libraries across Northern Ireland.

The programme includes practical workshops, expert talks, family activities, nature events and creative sessions, all designed to inspire simple, sustainable actions that can make a positive difference. From reducing waste and repairing household items to growing your own food, supporting biodiversity and discovering new ways to live more sustainably, there are plenty of opportunities to learn, share ideas and get involved.

Together, small actions can create a shared impact. Check out the events below and join us this September as we take simple steps towards a greener future.

Pledge for the Planet	Join Joanne and Noel from Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council for a fun upcycling craft session. Use recycled materials to design a creative pledge board that represents one positive action you will take to help the environment.
