Winter Wonderland Family Fun Day in Bangor Carnegie Library
Published 13 Nov 2025

Bangor Carnegie Library will be full of seasonal cheer on Saturday 22 November as it hosts a free Family Fun Day from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Families are invited to drop in at any time throughout the day to enjoy a lively programme of entertainment, crafts and activities for all ages.
The library will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland, offering a warm and welcoming space for local families to relax, play and get creative together. Throughout the morning and early afternoon, Theatre Without Walls will run a series of 30-minute interactive sessions beginning at 11:00am and continuing regularly until 1:45pm. Later in the day, Tale Time Stories will lead engaging storytelling sessions, also in 30-minute blocks, running from 1:00pm through to 3:45pm, giving families plenty of opportunities to join in whenever it suits them.
Visitors can also enjoy LEGO Club, Rhythm and Rhyme, festive crafts and lots of chances for children to explore, imagine and make new discoveries. All activities are free and no booking is required.
Bangor Carnegie Branch Library Manager Daniel Brown said:
“We are really looking forward to welcoming families into the library for a full day of fun and creativity. Bangor Carnegie has always been a hub for the community and this is a great opportunity to enjoy time together, meet others and explore what the library has to offer. Everyone is welcome, so we would love to see lots of families calling in throughout the day.”
