CUSTOMER NOTICE - Bank Holiday Closure
All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on Monday 31 August and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road. The Out of Hours Service will be available in applicable libraries. You can check out our eResources via our website or app.

| Knit and Natter |

Every Wednesday from 11:30am – 1:00pm
Knit and Natter groups are for those who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

| Storytime |
Every Saturday from 11:00am - 11:30am. Book on the Monday prior to the session. Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors. |

| Rhythm and Rhyme |
Please note there will only be two sessions running during the summer on Wednesday 1 July and Wednesday 5 August 2026. Wednesday from 10:30am - 11:00am. Booking on the Monday prior to the session is required. Rhythm and Rhyme is an exciting free programme to introduce children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories in the library. Rhythm and Rhyme is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed venue while giving parents and carers the chance to socialise. |

| Save the Bees Craft |
Join us at Newtownbreda Library to celebrate Go Green Month with Libraries NI! Decorate your very own flowerpot before planting special seed paper to grow vital and wonderful wildflowers. These flowers will give bees and other pollinators food reserves before the winter months. |
