Mindful Colouring  
Every Monday from 10:00am - 12noon.

Mindful Colouring groups are for anyone who wants to explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs. They can enhance well-being, help calm the mind and relieve stress through relaxed, meditative colouring in.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Rhythm and Rhyme is an exciting free programme to introduce children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories in the library. Rhythm and Rhyme is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed venue while giving parents and carers the chance to socialise.

Lego and Duplo Club  
Weekly on a Saturday from 10:30am until 11:30am.

Knit and Natter  
Every Wednesday from 1:00pm - 3:00pm.
Knit and Natter groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Storytime  

Weekly story time on a Wednesday for children aged 4-8 years accompanied by an adult.
Booking not required.

 

Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.

Create a Comic Strip - Big Summer Read 2026  

Create your own comic strip at the library
Inspired by the Treehouse series by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton we'll be creating our own comic strips then adding a joke to the Finaghy Joke Tree
Followed by a funny story time

Go Green with Libraries NI - Save the Bees craft time  

Help us celebrate Go Green with LibrariesNI month. Decorate a flowerpot before planting special seed paper to grow your own colourful wildflowers. These flowers will give bees and other pollinators much needed food reserves before the winter months.  Love our bees!
