CUSTOMER NOTICE - Bank Holiday Closure
All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on Monday 31 August and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road. The Out of Hours Service will be available in applicable libraries. You can check out our eResources via our website or app.

| Adult Short Story Reading Group |
Fortnightly on a Monday. From 2:00pm – 3:00pm.
Our group focuses on short stories chosen by staff and read and discussed on the day. The reading group encourages people to read for pleasure, share their enthusiasm and express opinions about books and their authors.

| After School Club |
A nurturing space to do some homework, with some board games and colouring activities after. Monday to Friday from 2:30 – 4:30pm – booking not required. |

| Tea and Newspapers |
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00pm - 4:30pm Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. |

| Dictionary Corner |
Every Thursday 2:00pm- 3:00pm.
Join us at our weekly discussion group to find out about the fun (and sometimes surprising) origins of the words and phrases that we use daily.

| Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Monday and Friday 10:30am -11:30am.
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.
Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

| Lego Club |
Every Saturday from 10:30am - 12:00noon. Lego is a play set which encourages imagination, fun and creativity. The club is suitable for all children aged 4 -11 with adult supervision. No booking required. |

| Go Green with Libraries NI - Wildflower Pots |
Come along to Waterside Library and celebrate LNI's Go Green Month! Use our craft resources to decorate your very own flowerpot before planting special seed paper to grow your own beautiful wildflowers. These flowers provide food for bees and other pollinators that is well needed before the winter months! Suitable for children aged 4-12: children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult.
