CUSTOMER NOTICE - Bank Holiday Closure
All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on Monday 31 August and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road. The Out of Hours Service will be available in applicable libraries. You can check out our eResources via our website or app.

| Children’s Mindful Colouring |
Every Monday from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Mindful Colouring-in can be a most beneficial exercise for children. Strathfoyle Library offer the ideal environment for children to relax, indulge in their own creativity and have their artwork showcased. |

| Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Thursday from 10:30am to 11:00am. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

| Big Summer Read 2026 |
Junk Art Creation Challenge 2026! Instead of recycling why not reuse and make a fun toy to play with, a giant calculator using old bottle tops, a robot using cereal boxes and anything else you would usually throw out to make a wonderful inventive creation. Feel free to bring along some materials if you are building something specific. For children from 4 years old

Riddles to Solve To complete our Big Summer Read Challenge for 2026, come along and enjoy an afternoon of quizzing activities. We will have quiz questions to see how much we have learned over the summer together and some riddles to solve.
