Every Thursday from 10:30am to 11:00am. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

| Big Summer Read 2026 |
By joining in on our How-to Crafting Challenge you will learn how to make a mask of your favourite animal. Using our Junior non-fiction section, children will learn some fun facts about animals from across the world. After our learning session we will be using craft materials provided by the library to learn how to make a mask of our favourite animals to take home. This event is led by library staff.
For children aged from 4 years old. Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Get messy in the library! Finger and foot painting fun for little ones. Paint the cover of your favourite story book using only your fingers or toes! Junk Art Creation Challenge 2026! Instead of recycling why not reuse and make a fun toy to play with, a giant calculator using old bottle tops, a robot using cereal boxes and anything else you would usually throw out to make a wonderful inventive creation. Feel free to bring along some materials if you are building something specific. For children from 4 years old
