Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Thursday from 10:30am to 11:00am.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Every Thursday from 11:00am to 12 noon.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Mindful Colouring-in can be a most beneficial exercise for children. Strathfoyle Library offer the ideal environment for children to relax, indulge in their own creativity and have their artwork showcased.

World Book Day 2026 - Story and crafts  

To celebrate World Book Day join us in the morning from 10:30am to 12 noon for Storytime sessions.  In the afternoon from 2:00pm we will be having a DIY bookmark making event and children can add their favourite book and author to our colourful library bunting for display!

Family Fun Day  

Please note the Parky Magician Show is now fully booked.

 

Families are invited to come along from 10:00am to 1:00pm to enjoy a fun packed day of activites.  Booking essential for Parky the Magician shows and we will have board games, crafting and face painting.  Everyone is welcome!
