| Adult Reading Group |
First Friday of every month between 10:30am to 11:30am.
This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free. Please contact the library for more information. |

| Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Monday and Tuesday from 11:00am to 11:30am. Songs, Rhymes and stories for babies and toddlers. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! Wednesdays from 11:00am - 12:30pm A group for anyone who enjoys knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. Share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Bring whatever you are working on at the moment or start a new project. |

Weekly, every Friday from 2:15pm - 2:45pm. Suitable for ages 3-6 years. Storytime sessions help children develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. | Big Summer Read - 'The Story Tree' Themed Storytime and Craft Session |
The Big Summer Read has arrived at Portstewart Library, as we invite children aged 4 - 11 years to come along and enjoy a themed Storytime and craft session to kick off the challenge. Join our friendly library staff for a special Storytime then afterwards, help us with our 'Story Tree' craft where, using our selection of craft resources, you can add a leaf, root or branch to our paper collage Story Tree that will be on display all summer in the library. |

Ahoy me hearties! The Big Summer Read at Portstewart Library is calling all pirates and mermaids aged 4-9 years (children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult) to dress up in your best costumes and join us for our themed Storytime and craft. Listen as our friendly library staff read stories from the high seas before using our craft resources to make your very own awesome eye-patch or a seashell crown. Booking Essential. |

| Big Summer Read - Causeway Museum Services 'Objects of the Past' Show and Tell Workshop |
Portstewart Library is delighted to welcome Causeway Museum Services, as part of our Big Summer Read activities, to host a family friendly 'Objects of the Past' Show and Tell Workshop. Come along and see amazing props from yester-year including Mesolithic flints through a plantation tile and items right up to the mobile phone, while sharing and listening to fascinating stories of the past. |

No spoilers here so you all have to follow the clues to solve the mystery with the assistance of our eagle eyed staff who will provide a hint if you get stuck! |
