| Adult Reading Club |
Third Tuesday of every month from 6:30pm – 7:15pm
This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free.

| Knit and Natter |
Weekly every Tuesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |

| The History of Kilrea Library' - Local Exhibition Project |
Working alongside the local community in this community led project exhibition, Kilrea Library invites you to come along and learn more about the library services history in the village of Kilrea, starting from the 1960s until the present day. Find out more on how the provision has evolved until the present day with a collection of information provided from local community figures and artefacts from Libraries NI on display to view. |

Every Saturday from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. Please contact the library for more information. |

| Junior Reading Group |
Third Saturday of every month between 12:00pm – 12:45pm.
For children aged 7-9 years, come and join our monthly Junior Reading Group. This group is a fun way for children to be introduced to a wide range of new books, authors and to make new friends along the way. Members are asked to read a chosen book before each meeting, which will be available to borrow for free from the library catalogue.

| Empathy Day Festival - 'Read, Connect and Craft' Event |
To celebrate this year's Empathy Day Festival, Kilrea Library invites children aged 4-10 years to come along and take part in our 'Read, Connect and Craft 'event. With a selection of Empathy themed books available for reading, join other children and connect together in your local library. Then come together and enjoy crafting your very own Empathy Superpower Glasses, ready to look into the world through the lens of connection. |

| Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman (NIPSO) - 'Drop In' Information Session |
Kilrea Library is delighted to welcome the Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman (NIPSO), to host an information session . The NIPSO investigates complaints about public services in Northern Ireland. If you feel you have been treated unfairly by a public body, such as a council, school, health service, or government department, NIPSO provides a free, independent service to review your complaint. They aim to put things right, improve services, and ensure people are treated fairly. This session in Kilrea Library will provide an opportunity for the local community to come and learn more by meeting the NIPSO Policy and Engagement Team. |

In support of Loneliness Awareness Week, Kilrea Library is delighted to welcome Community Advice Causeway, a local charity providing free, independent advice to all areas of Causeway Coast and Glens area, to host an information talk. Drop in and meet a member of the team to find out more on what topics Community Advice Causeway can support with including: employment, housing rights, money and debt, family issues, health, education and much more. |
