| Rhythm and Rhyme |

Rhythm and Rhyme is an exciting free programme to introduce children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories in the library. Rhythm and Rhyme is a great opportunity for children to have fun and learn in a relaxed venue while giving parents and carers the chance to socialise. |

| Knit and Natter |
Every Friday from 10:00am to 12 noon. Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |

| Fermanagh and Omagh District Council talk on Irvinestown and District Townlands |
Join us in Irvinestown Library for a free event suitable for adults where Fiona Crudden from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council (FODC) will be delivering a talk on our local townlands. Fiona Crudden, the Irish Language Officer for FODC, has conducted extensive research on the townlands of Fermanagh and is keen to share their secrets. Her talk will focus on the Irish derivation of the Townlands, as well as the place they hold for us today.

| Book Week NI 2026 - Author Talk on Romance Writing by Emma Heatherington |
Join us in Irvinestown Library where we are delighted to host local author Emma Heatherington to deliver a talk on romance writing. Emma Heatherington has penned more than thirty educational short films, plays and musicals as well as eleven novels, two of which were written under the pseudonym Emma Louise Jordan. She was ghost-writer to Irish country music legend Philomena Begley and Liverpool born Nathan Carter, whose autobiography Born for the Road was nominated for an Irish Book Award. Emma's novel, The Legacy of Lucy Harte, was an eBook bestseller in both the UK and US. She lives in her native Donaghmore, Co Tyrone. |

Out of Hours Service
The Out of Hours Service allows adults (aged 18 years and over) controlled access to Irvinestown Library for an additional 36 hours per week outside of normal opening hours.
Registered members can access a limited but important range of services on a self-service basis, including broadband/Wi-Fi access, printing facilities, study space and book borrowing. To register, just call in or contact the library during normal opening hours and ask staff for details.
