Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

RNID Hearing User Support Service  

Takes place bi-monthly; please contact the library to confirm the date and time of the next event. 


Free walk-in service that offers advice to users and minor repairs to hearing aid devices.

Macular Society Support Group Meeting  

Monthly support group for people suffering from Macular Degeneration. Please contact the library for dates.

Board Games Club  

Chess, Draughts and Dominoes.
Relax and enjoy a game with friends while you have a cup of tea or coffee.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Friday from 11:00am - 11.30am.
Booking essential.
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.  Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Lego Club  
Every Saturday from 11:00am - 12:00pm.
 
Come along to have some Lego building fun.
Fun and creative ideas for things to make and build.
 
For children aged 6-10 years; children must be accompanied by an adult.
Duplo bricks available for younger children.

Mindful Colouring  
Every Tuesday from 11:00am - 12:00pm.

Mindful Colouring groups are for anyone who wants to explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs. They can enhance well-being, help calm the mind and relieve stress through relaxed, meditative colouring in.

Knit and Natter  
Every Monday from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.

Knit and Natter groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

First Solo Art and Jewellery Exhibition by Lili Marjorie Gualberto  

Steeped in Majorie's Filipino family heritage, the exhibition explores themes of identity, and cultural storytelling through fine art, gemstone-adorned painting, and jewellery works from and situates both a personal and historical narrative within a broader meditation on resilience and legacy. 

There is a special public launch on 5 June at 11:00am

Icons Into Ammo Exhibition by Inna Shynkevich  

This exhibition presents sacred icons painted on reclaimed ammunition boxes from the war in Ukraine. The idea behind the exhibition is symbolic: transforming objects associated with war into works of faith, reflection and hope.

Available during library opening hours.
