All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on Monday 25 May and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road. The Out of Hours Service will be available in applicable libraries.

Conversation Station  
Conversation Station runs every Saturday morning from 10.30am -12.30pm, everyone is welcome.  It’s a chance to catch up with other customers, have a chat, do puzzles and jigsaws, use the SAD lamp, have a cup of tea or just read the newspapers on offer.

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Tuesday from 11:00am - 12:00noon.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Knit and Natter  
Every Tuesday from 2:00pm - 3:00pm.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Thursday from 10:30am - 11:00am.

Booking essential in advance.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Time for Tea  

Take a moment to unwind, connect with others and enjoy a warm atmosphere at Richhill Library as we celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week. There will be tea, coffee, sweet treats, puzzles, board games and friendly conversation to enjoy.

Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 - Wellbeing Hour  

Join us at Richhill Library for Wellbeing Hour!

Take a pause from the business of everyday life during Mental Health Awareness Week with this drop-in session.

Designed especially for adults, we will take you through calming breathing exercises, gratitude activities, and mindful paper crafts. You’ll leave feeling more relaxed, grounded, and refreshed.

Empathy Day Festival - Coffee Morning  

Come along to Richhill Library for a Coffee Morning as part of Empathy Festival, a celebration of kindness, understanding, and connection. Enjoy a relaxed, welcoming space, and a range of group empathy activities. Take part in guided discussion circles, conversation prompts, and challenges designed to help people connect and discover shared experiences. Work together on puzzles, share kind messages, and explore different perspectives through empathy mapping activities.

Empathy Day Festival - Story and Craft  

Come along to Richhill Library on Empathy Day, where we will explore kindness, understanding, and emotional awareness through storytelling and creative activities, including making worry boxes and feeling charts.

Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman  

Richhill Library is delighted to welcome the Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman (NIPSO), who will be hosting an information stand in the library. 

The NIPSO investigates complaints about public services in Northern Ireland. If you feel you have been treated unfairly by a public body, NIPSO provides a free, independent service to review your complaint. Their presence in Richhill Library will provide an opportunity for the local community to learn more by meeting the NIPSO Policy and Engagement Team.

All Welcome.
