| Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Monday and Saturday 11:00am – 11:30am.
Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.
Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun. |

First Monday of each month 2:00pm – 3:00pm.
First Saturday of each month 10:00am – 11:00am.
The Adult Reading Group now takes place on the first Monday of each month from 2:00pm - 3:00pm as well as the first Saturday of each month 10:00am – 11:00am.
The Adult Reading Group for 16's and over gives an opportunity for adults to discuss their latest book. Tea/coffee available. |

| Knit and Natter |
Every Tuesday from 10:00am to 12 noon. Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. Everyone welcome. Tea and coffee provided. |

Every Tuesday from 3:30pm - 4:15pm. Storytime and Craft is aimed at children aged 4 – 8 years; children must be accompanied by an adult. First Tuesday of each month 4:00pm – 4:45pm.
Ages 8 – 11.
Junior Reading Groups are a fun way for children to be introduced to a wide range of new books, authors and to make new friends along the way. Members are asked to read a chosen book before each meeting, which will be available to borrow for free from the library catalogue. |

Rathcoole Library is welcoming the team from Ulster University behind the ‘Islandmagee Witches Creative and Digital Project’ (w1711.org) to help us explore the fascinating past of one of the most talked-about episodes in local history. Ulster University Associate Dean and senior lecturer in Cinematic Arts, Dr Victoria McCollum and Dr Andrew Sneddon, Senior Lecturer in History and leading expert on the history of Irish witchcraft and the supernatural, will uncover and present the real stories behind the events, and the challenges and rewards of retelling this unique piece of cultural history through exhibitions, animation, theatre, graphic novels, video games and virtual reality. Little Spooks and Storybooks is an autumn festival for all ages, celebrating stories, imagination, and creative fun.
