Every Tuesday from 6:00pm - 7:30pm and Thursday from 11:00am - 12:30pm. Booking is essential.

 

A group for anyone who enjoys knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. Share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Bring whatever you are working on at the moment or start a new project.

Quiet Hour With Sensory Play  
Saturdays from 10:30am -11:30am.
 
Bring your child/children to visit the library, browse and borrow books and avail of sensory toys during a quieter time of the week.

Lego Club  
Every Saturday from 2:00pm - 3:00pm.

Booking not essential.

Suitable for age 4 - 8 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Come along to have some Lego building fun.

Rhythm and Rhyme  
Every Tuesday from 10:45am - 11:30am.

Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories.

Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun!

Children's Board Games  
Weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.

Are you ‘Bored’?
Why not pop in and have lots of fun with our board games. For ages 3 and over accompanied by parent/carer.

Tea and Newspapers  
Every Tuesday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits.

Cryptic Corner  
Every Thursday from 10:30am to 1:00pm.
 
Keep your mind active and relax with crosswords and sudokus in good company.  Everyone is welcome to call in and have a go at solving them.

Mindful Colouring  
Every Thursday from 10:30am to 1:00pm.
 
Mindful Colouring groups are for anyone who wants to explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs. They can enhance well-being, help calm the mind and relieve stress through relaxed, meditative colouring in.

Knit and Natter  
Every Thursday from 11:00am - 12;30pm.

Booking is essential as numbers are limited.

Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new.

Empathy Day Festival Story Time and Craft  

Empathy Story Time and Craft - children are invited to come along to celebrate Empathy day by listening to stories and creating their very own empathy rainbow.
Through cutting, gluing and creating their own beautiful rainbows, children can discuss different ways to show kindness and understand that even small acts can brighten up someone's day, just as a rainbow brightens up a sky.

NIPSO Drop-In Advice Session – Your Rights with Public Services

 

Have you been treated unfairly or had a poor experience with a public service? The Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman (NIPSO) Engagement Team is here to help. Drop in to speak confidentially with the team about concerns relating to services such as schools, local councils, or health and social care. NIPSO investigates complaints and works to put things right. This free session offers an opportunity to learn more about your rights and how public services can be improved. Adults.

Summer Craft and Story Time
Join us for a tall and spotty adventure!  Children are invited to come along and create their very own giraffe and then enjoy a fun story about these gentle giants.  Perfect for little hands and big imaginations!
