All public libraries in Northern Ireland will be closed on Monday 31 August and Mobile Libraries will not be on the road. The Out of Hours Service will be available in applicable libraries. You can check out our eResources via our website or app.

| Junior Storytime |
Storytime sessions help children aged 4 - 8 years develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors.
Suitable for children aged 4-8 years; children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

| Tea and Newspapers |
Every Tuesday and Saturday between 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Tea and Newspapers groups give adults the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and discuss local and national affairs in the newspapers while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits. |

| Adult Reading Group |
First Tuesday of every month between 2:30pm – 3:30pm. This group aims to allow everyone’s reading experiences to be shared and enjoyed. Participants don’t have to be library members but if you join, you can borrow the book the group will be discussing for free. Please contact the library for more information. |

| Rhythm and Rhyme |
Every Thursday from 10:30am - 11:00am Booking is essential. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

| Big Summer Read - 'Book Character Dress Up and Treasure Hunt' |
The Big Summer Read concludes in Cushendall Library, as we invite children aged 2+ years accompanied by an adult to pick a costume from our 'Book Character' dress up rail before embarking on a fun filled treasure hunt with our friendly library staff, to find all your favourite book characters who are hidden in the library. |

| Pot Planting craft |
Join us in Cushendall library and help us celebrate Go Green with Libraries NI Month! Use our craft resources to decorate your very own flowerpot before planting special seed paper to grow your own colourful wildflowers. These flowers will give bees and other pollinators much needed food reserves before the winter months! Booking essential. For children age 4-11 years. |
