Weekly, every Monday from 3:30pm to 4:00pm. Suitable for ages 4-8 years. Storytime sessions help children develop a love of books, improve their listening skills, inspire creativity and feeds their imagination. Join our friendly staff as they read popular books and introduce children to a whole range of different authors. | Rhythm and Rhyme (Wednesdays and Fridays) |
Every Wednesday and Friday from 10:30am to 11:00am. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! | Mindful Colouring |
Every Thursday from 11:00am to 12 noon. Mindful Colouring groups are for anyone who wants to explore the world of adult colouring with intricate colouring patterns and designs. They can enhance well-being, help calm the mind and relieve stress through relaxed, meditative colouring in. |

| Adult Reading Group |
Last Wednesday of the month from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. Adult Reading Groups are a great opportunity for members to join in some lively literary discussions in a relaxed, friendly environment. The groups encourage people to read for pleasure, share their enthusiasm and express opinions about books and their authors. The group meets on a regular basis and the book the group will be discussing can be borrowed from the library catalogue for free. |

Ballymoney Library is delighted to host the 'Sam Thompson Archive' Exhibition. The Sam Thompson Archive, normally held in Belfast Central Library, provides a vivid snapshot of the man and his times. An important collection of manuscripts and typescripts, it is complemented by the correspondence, photographs and scrapbooks. Everyone Welcome. |

| Empathy Day Festival - 'Kindness Paper Chain' Craft |
To celebrate Empathy Day Festival, Ballymoney Library invites children aged 4-10 years to join our friendly library staff in an Empathy themed 'Kindness Paper Chain' Craft. Using our selection of craft resources, we will work together to create paper chains with messages of kindness that can be attached onto a range of shapes such as clouds or even to make the legs of an Empathy Friendly octopus. |
