Every Monday from 10:30am to 11:00am. Booking is essential, bookings for Rhythm and Rhyme will be taken on the Friday before by calling the library directly on 028 9446 1942. Rhythm and Rhyme sessions introduce parents and children aged 0 - 4 years to the wonder of rhymes, songs and stories. Each session offers an entertaining opportunity for children to engage with others, provides a good foundation to develop their reading, listening and language skills and of course to have lots of fun! |

| Knit and Natter |
Every Friday from 2:00pm to 3:30pm. Knit and Natter Groups are for adults who enjoy knitting, crochet, cross stitch and other crafts. They are free of charge to attend and participants have the opportunity to share hints and tips, swap patterns, meet new people and learn new skills. Members can bring along a project they are already working on or can start something new. |

| Good Company Club: Shared Reading |
Monthly on the second Wednesday of the month from 11:00am - 12noon. Come along and enjoy some good company where you can meet likeminded people. Good Company Club is a relaxed and welcoming group where people come together to enjoy stories, poetry, and conversation. Each session begins with a warm welcome, followed by a shared reading and sounds that inspires discussion, laughter, and connection. There is no pressure to read, remember or participate in any particular way. Whether listening, chatting, singing along or simply enjoying the company of others, everyone is welcome. The focus is on spending time together, sharing experiences and enjoying good company in a friendly and supportive environment. Particularly suitable for those with impaired reading, dementia, or memory changes. Carers and families are welcome. Please be aware that if you are bringing someone that you are caring for, that you need to stay with them for the duration of the session. The Good Company Club is part of the Shared Reading Group Programme. |

Gel Printing Using nature and a few supplementary techniques tutor Beverley Healy will show you how to create beautiful handmade prints using a gelatin or ‘gel’ plate. Have fun playing with print and creating your own mini collection. Materials are provided and no experienced is required, but please bring a handful of gathered nature with you - such as different leaves, grasses, small stems (nothing thorny or spiky), to make your prints more personal.
